OK, maybe not dawn.
But we do have an all-ages MTB ride next Wednesday night at 6.
This being Bentonville, bikes are in our blood. Join FAST (Friends of Arkansas Single Track) on our deck for an all-ages, all-abilities family ride at 6pm Wed April 26. You'll venture out to discover our world-class MTB trails, returning whenever you like to spend the evening on the deck or in the yard.
The Ride is FREE
Food from THE BEND, alas, is not.
Manager Michael Day has set aside some dollar beers for us, as well as the burger you see pictured, for a special price just for FAST members and guests after the ride. The Bend will stay open until 8, a full hour after closing time, so be sure to tip your server accordingly.
This is an all-ages, all-abilities, family-friendly ride. If you're new to FAST, The Bend, or even Bentonville, expect a fun, friendly evening. Groups are divided by ability and interestes.
There's an easy Greenway/All-American Trail group that sticks to the paved path and easy trails that parallel it. This is perfect for beginners, families with younger children, anyone looking for an easy ride at the end of the day, or just trying to work your legs out on your active rest day.
More advanced mountain bikers will venture out to their favorite spots. If you're an exceptionally skilled rider, but not familiar with our trails, this is an excellent opportunity to learn the lay of the land, meet new riding buddies, and be towed around by the locals. Full-suspension bikes are the norm in this group, though there may be the odd single speed or hard-tail.
Afterwards, expect an evening of food, friendships, and fun on the deck or out in the yard. There's plenty of places to sit, including under the lights in the custom booths. They'll have the beanbag toss out, and the track behind Buddy Pegs will also be available. The entire place is yours. Best of all, you'll be home before dark.
